I received this product for free from the sponsor of the Moms Meet program, May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my opinion on my blog. My opinions do not necessarily reflect the opinions of May Media Group LLC or the manufacturer of this product.
All of these products are made with Xylitol. Which, at first, sounds like a terrible chemical. But in fact it is an all natural sweetener, with clinically proven oral health benefits. Xylitol can be found naturally occurring in most fruits and even produced by your body periodically. I also learned that Xylitol helps the body’s natural cleansing process to clear away allergens, asthmatic triggers, and other harmful bacteria.
Spry Gems & Spry Gum While I read more information on this new ingredient, I sampled a few Spry Gem mints. For a tiny mint it certainly did the job right! Even the pocket sized container is perfect for on the go, I tucked it right inside my purse pocket, along with a pack of Spry gum. Which after chewing a sample I noticed its smooth texture and just the right amount of mint as well. Nothing is more off putting, in my opinion, than an overpowering mint flavor!
Spry Toothpaste I have to say I have never been a fan of “all natural toothpaste.” This maybe from a poor past experience or two in my childhood. So I was expecting a gritty, flavorless paste to mush around with my brush. This was NOT the case with Spry toothpaste! I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor and the non-gritty texture. The toothpaste is also a pure natural white color, I know most colored products are full of artificial dyes. Bonus this is a fluoride free toothpaste, so even my kids can share with me!
Spry Oral Rinse Follow up brushing with a swish of oral rinse. This one doesn’t leave you with that terrible burning sensation. But more of a perfect balance between mint and effective clean feeling. While swishing it does not make it foam up, I was happy with that. “Foaming up” is usually associated with a form of soap. And while you don’t think you should have “soap” in your mouth wash, think again! Most commercial products contain “sodium laureth sulfate” which can be found in everything from toothpaste to body wash! Lastly, the liquid itself is clear, which is another great sign of a truly natural product.
Xlear Sinus Care Spray While I don’t regularly use nasal spray or mists, I did try this out. I was expecting a full out squirt of liquid, but this was a calm, gentle mist. Immediately I could tell that my nose was moisturized and felt soothed. I will try this out again when I have a cold or sinus trouble, as I see it would be more beneficial to me then. And a bonus that it is a natural product, I tend to avoid medications as much as possible, even with a cold. This will be a great alternative.
