I am a baker first. Always have been. Making meals was never a strong suit of mine, and my sweet tooth always got the best of my anyway! Chocolate Chip is always the go too for any one. Comforting, warm, delicious, classic. And I have an awesome recipe for those. Today though, I wanted to share my newest favorite.

Around Christmas I make a TON of cookies. I think this year it was close to 35 dozen.  ( yes that is right *thirty-five*!!) Sharing with my neighbors, friend,s & family, of course, because I could eat all of them if I wanted! Those cookies are 4-5 of my all time favorite cookie recipes. And this year I tried to mix it up a bit with this recipe, and now I am hooked!

As much as you want to search high and low for the “healthy cookie, that still tastes like a cookie” its really not out there. (If you found one share the link below!) So when it comes to cookies I allow myself to enjoy the treat. If it happens to have oats and a form of fruit in it then I tend to feel a bit better!

    • They taste as good as they look! And I feel a little less guilty eating a whole batch when they have oatmeal in them at least! haha
